Senator Moua, Senate Judiciary Chair
The Minnesota Tenant Bill of Rights will be heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, March 16, at 3 pm (along with 16 bills). Because of the packed agenda for the committee hearing, we don’t expect to say more than: “Here’s what we could get all sides to agree to.”
So the real work is what additional agreements we can eek out of the next couple days.
All of the negotiating parties will sit down on Monday to hammer out progress on late fees and expungement hearings … or that’s what we hope for.
For details on the legislation as it currently stands, visit the March 10th post.
If you are a constituent of any of the Senate Judiciary Committee members, give them a call to encourage their support of the Minnesota Tenant Bill of Rights.
