Senator Bakk hears from — and listens to — First Tenant Alliance Project in Hermantown

by Michael Dahl, Public Policy Director on 19 March 2010

Sen Bakk, Senate Tax Committee Chair

[Residents of Maple Grove Estates in Hermantown] sent 33 messages to Sen Tom Bakk –  1 by e-mail,  1 by phone, 4 personal letters (faxed) and 27 petition signatures … collected door to door by … go-getter, Jean S.   They asked Senator Bakk to stand strong on the Renters’ Credit.  The tenants stated they got an immediate response.

Noted one of the active tenants:  “We consider this our ‘First Tenant Alliance Project’ which shows that we are involved in more than complaining about management.”

HOME Line applauds the great crew in Hermantown!

We are sure Senator Bakk, already a supporter of the Renters’ Credit, appreciates the support from the community.

By the way, go-getter Jean S. needs her Renters’ Credit.  ““I … use my renters check for car repairs most of the time.”
