Greater Minnesota was not immune to experiencing foreclosures, and this article tells the story of one such apartment building. When residents heard that this 39-unit building was entering foreclosure, they were left to wonder what their fate would be. On a positive note, it appears that the City of Granite Falls is aware of the building’s issues, and wants to get involved. One way for tenants to organize and save their housing is to rally the community for support. By showing a broad, united front, hopefully more affordable housing can be preserved.
