This article in the Pioneer Press discusses one St. Paul landlord Dave Bush. It asks the question, Is Mr. Bush a slumlord that pays no attention to city codes and regulations or Is Mr. Bush a housing saint with a plan to save the homeless people of St. Paul? On one hand Mr. Bush provides housing for vulnerable tenants at a very low price (some times free). On the other hand the conditions of the houses can be dangerous and violate numerous city codes.
