Theft of rent-aid results in prison sentence

This Star Tribune article is a follow up on a previous post “Swindle Scheme”. Hennepin County employee Yolanda Faye Williams pled guilty to two counts of aiding and abetting theft of public funds. She was sentenced to consecutive two-year prison terms, but will serve only one of the sentences. The landlords involved face multiple counts of the same charges. One landlord Tremayne Williams was sentenced to five months in the workhouse, while the others await trial.
