HOME Line VISTA Program Positions Open: 2024-25 Program Year

The HOME Line VISTA Program is recruiting members for our 2024-2025 program year, which starts August 26, 2024. Members complete a year of national service through AmeriCorps VISTA, receive extensive tenant organizing training from HOME Line & community partners, and are placed at local nonprofits and municipalities that are looking to expand their tenant organizing abilities & reach. 

Click on each position below to learn more. Each of our host sites provides varying amounts of monthly rent stipends to support member housing stability. Applicants can choose to apply through the AmeriCorps Portal or send a resume and cover letter via email to Jess at jessz@homelinemn.org, indicating which positions they are interested in pursuing. 

  • Elliott Park Neighborhood Inc: Join us in making a real impact in the Elliot Park Neighborhood! Help support housing stability, empower residents, and gain valuable skills in community organizing, communications, and project management. Come see what neighborhood planning looks like. Become a Vista Tenant Organizer and be a part of positive change!
  • Housing Justice Center: Join the HJC team to build organizing infrastructure for Minnesota renters in Manufactured Home Communities and Low-Income Properties.
  • HOME Line: (VISTA Leader position – must have completed 1 year of VISTA full time service prior) Play a major role in building capacity of the HOME Line VISTA program while guiding VISTA Members focused on tenant rights and preserving affordable housing!
  • Isuroon: Help Immigrant communities in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area maintain stable housing.
  • City of West St. Paul: Be a leader in setting the national standard for rental housing excellence! Be creative, be innovative, have fun. A true possibility for regional and national recognition
