On June 18th 2025, HOME Line hosted a Tenant/Landlord law webinar about recently passed local/city ordinances that impact rental housing. HOME Line Housing Attorney Phillip Mellon was joined by Housing Attorney Matt Eichenlaub who delved into topics such as how to avoid rental scams, best practices for tenants with imperfect records, and how tenants can ensure their security deposit is returned. Presenters also fielded questions from attendees.
HOME Line has been hosting regular tenant/landlord legal webinars since mid-April 2020, initially about COVID-19 issues, and expanding to other topics since then. Over 7,500 tenants, social workers and landlords have watched these live presentations from 1,300 organizations. Over 6,200 have watched recorded versions
