HOME Line’s cohort of AmeriCorps VISTA tenant organizers are currently serving without pay due to the shutdown of the federal government. VISTA members receive modest biweekly payments to cover housing, food, and other personal expenses during their term of service, and any interruption is a significant challenge.
Your financial support will help our VISTA tenant organizers continue their important work during this time of economic hardship and uncertainty. Since 2018, our cohort has leveraged more than $200,000 in cash and in-kind resources, mobilized over 1,000 volunteers, and helped thousands of Minnesota renters address their housing challenges.
