We’re excited to share our 2018 Annual Report that provides a brief overview of the advice, advocacy, organizing, and overall impact HOME Line provided for Minnesota renters last year. Highlights include:
- 13,240 renter households received free and confidential legal advice, most frequently helping tenants with repairs, security deposits, and evictions.
- 52 volunteers and interns provided 2,090 hours of service.
- We assisted with the publication of three reports on the impacts of evictions in certain areas of the state: Greater MN, Brooklyn Park, and St. Paul.
- We organized alongside low-income tenants at Lou Park Apts., Mears Park Apts., Madison Apts., and Normandale Lake Estates.
- We represented tenants in critical impact litigation at the Minnesota Court of Appeals and Minnesota Supreme Court.
Please consider supporting these essential programs through a one-time donation, a recurring donation, or volunteering your time for HOME Line.
