On July 15th, HOME Line hosted a free webinar to share information about current legal issues that Minnesota renters are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. This week we combined our two sessions into a single 90-minute session. We were joined by 4th Judicial District Court Referee Melissa J. Houghtaling who highlighted how how the court anticipates handling each type of case in Hennepin County and what they foresee for the future (post-peacetime emergency). We also discussed general legal issues that Minnesota renters are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the state. We’re hosting another webinar next week, and will be covering the new Executive Order 20-79 that will replace the current eviction suspension (EO 20-14 & 20-73) on August 4th.
We hope this training was helpful to you. Please consider giving a tax-deductible donation to support our work by clicking here.
