On July 29th, HOME Line hosted a free webinar to share information about current legal issues that Minnesota renters are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were joined by another guest speaker: Landlord Attorney Kim Tennyson. Kim’s been practicing in real estate and evictions for 11 years. She’s handled eviction cases in all metro counties and beyond! We talked about the current state of the law and how she thinks evictions will work after the moratorium is lifted and how she’s advising her clients right now. We’re hosting another 90-minute webinar next Wednesday to discuss Executive Order 20-79, which goes into effect on August 4th.
