8/19/20 HOME Line legal webinar about COVID-19 related rental housing issues

August 18, 2020 by HOME Line Legal Staff Leave a Comment

HOME Line’s weekly COVID-19 webinar series will continue as a single 90-minute session on Wednesday, August 19th at 1:30 pm.

We’ll cover Executive Order 20-79 that changed some aspects of Minnesota’s current eviction suspension on August 4th. We’ll also be taking your questions, both submitted in advance and during the session.

We’ve been doing weekly webinars since mid-April on COVID-19 and how it affects Minnesota landlords and tenants. Over 1,850 tenants, social workers and landlords have watched these live presentations and over 1,300 have watched recorded versions.

This free webinar will be held live on the Zoom webinar platform which will allow participants to ask questions live, or submit questions in advance. The 90-minute webinar begins at 1:30pm on Wednesday, August 19th.

You must register in advance to attend. To register to attend this webinar, please click here.

All of our previous webinars were recorded and are available here. We also maintain a general COVID-19 issues page here.

HOME Line attorneys have given speeches to over 2,000 different groups throughout Minnesota–tenants, landlords, service providers, etc.–covering a wide variety of landlord/tenant law topics. HOME Line Managing Attorney and Hotline Director Mike Vraa will lead this training.

Please note that we will provide general legal information during this webinar. If you are a renter in Minnesota and you have a question about your specific housing situation, please contact our free tenant hotline: 612-728-5767 or via email. Also, some general rental housing information regarding COVID-19 is available here.
