On October 14th, HOME Line hosted a free webinar to share information about current legal issues that Minnesota renters are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. This week we were joined by Mary Kaczorek and Luke Grundman from the housing unit at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA). They discussed some of the issues they are seeing in eviction cases faced by tenants in Hennepin County during the pandemic–including how the moratorium exceptions are being exploited. We also fielded a variety of questions during the webinar.
