On August 18th, HOME Line hosted another COVID-19 webinar—the recording is further below. We were joined by Lawrence McDonough, Senior Minnesota Fellow, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Lawrence provided a comprehensive overview of Minnesota’s eviction moratorium phaseout law and how it impacts tenants, landlords, and the courts. He discussed in detail litigating eviction actions under Minnesota’s phaseout law. He also fielded a range of questions about evictions, and provided a wealth of information a regarding the eviction process and related resources for tenants, advocates, attorneys, and others.
HOME Line has been hosting webinars since mid-April on COVID-19 and how it affects Minnesota landlords and tenants. Over 6,000 tenants, social workers and landlords have watched these live presentations and over 3,200 have watched recorded versions. We’ll continue to host webinars about the phaseout of the eviction moratorium weekly throughout August. Click here to see schedule & registration for all upcoming webinars.
