Recording of 4/13/22 HOME Line tenant/landlord webinar: New Brooklyn Center pre-eviction notice & just cause ordinances

March 31, 2022 by HOME Line Legal Staff Leave a Comment

On April 13, 2022, HOME Line hosted a webinar on Minnesota tenant/landlord law. In this webinar Jesse Anderson, the Deputy Director of Community Development with the city of Brooklyn Center, and Fadumo Mohamed, a housing organizer with ACER, gave an overview of the new Brooklyn Center Tenant Protections ordinance. They shared about how the ordinance came to be, what it actually says, and what it means for tenants and landlords going forward.

We are applying for 1.0 general CLE credits for this webinar and will notify attendees if and when it is approved.

HOME Line has been hosting webinars since mid-April 2020 on COVID-19 and how it affects Minnesota landlords and tenants. Over 6,000 tenants, social workers and landlords have watched these live presentations and over 3,200 have watched recorded versions.
