Grant Funding for Renter Health Now Open

July 8, 2022 by Regan Reeck Leave a Comment

HOME Line has partnered with The City of Bloomington Public Health Division and we are excited to announce grant funding for renters and groups connected to rent-burdened communities in Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield. Being rent-burdened means a household spends more than 30 percent of their income on rent.

Health starts in our homes. Where we live and how we live has a big impact on health and well-being.

Funding is provided by the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership and will be awarded to renters and advocates whose projects promote access to nutritious foods, physical activities, smoke-free places, and well-being close to where people live and in their homes. Up to five projects will be awarded, with grants ranging from $500 – $3,000.

For more information and to apply visit: blm.mn/renterhealth.

When you have decided to apply, please connect with us, we are happy to walk through the grant process with you. Please reach out to our Grant Coordinator, Regan Reeck at reganr@homelinemn.org if you have any questions. The deadline to apply has been adjusted to accept grant applications on a rolling basis. Grant rounds are as follows:

  • August 16 to September 15 (Round 1)
  • September 16 to October 15 (Round 2)
  • October 16 to November 15 (Round 3)
