On October 26, 2022, HOME Line hosted a webinar on Minnesota tenant/landlord law. This webinar covered some general rules about heating rental properties in Minnesota. We were joined by HOME Line Housing Attorney Matt Eichenlaub who reviewed how to take a temperature reading, along with an overview of Minnesota Heat Codes, what landlords are responsible for, and what tenants can do if the heat goes out.
HOME Line has been hosting webinars since mid-April 2020 on COVID-19 and how it affects Minnesota landlords and tenants. Over 7,000 tenants, social workers and landlords have watched these live presentations and over 4,500 have watched recorded versions.
