Are you interested in spending a year of deep personal and professional development in community with an AmeriCorps VISTA Cohort focused on tenant organizing? Our 2023-24 VISTA positions are currently accepting applications until filled. HOME Line VISTA members are placed with local nonprofit organizations that are working to build their capacity to support renters. Each position includes a housing stipend. All Parks Alliance for Change – VISTA Tenant Organizer

• Promote social change for some of Minnesota’s most marginalized low-income people. Identify common issues, unite residents around a shared vision, and develop powerful leaders to make real changes.

• Expand HJC’s capacity to address housing instability & a lack of tenant rights knowledge/organizing infrastructure for renters and manufactured housing residents in exurban MN

MN Housing Partnership – Narrative Change Tenant Organizer

• Seeking a Narrative Change VISTA Tenant Organizer to build tenant power and
  influence through storytelling, organizing, convening, and leadership development activities. Join us to develop housing narratives connected to the intentions, directly, and leadership of tenants.

• Let’s get to building! Join PWNO to organize tenant association(s) and develop creative, new, and alternative organizing techniques. All in view of the city’s only castle in the heart of Minneapolis!

• Engage low-income renting communities in west St. Paul neighborhoods to build tenant networks, associations, and institutionalize renter power! This area of Saint Paul is experiencing steady residential growth and development and is situated along important commercial and transit corridors.
