Tou Xiong is an aspiring Attorney. Prior to joining HOME Line, Tou was a non-profit executive director in Minneapolis and practiced Estate & Probate Law. He brings vast experience in local and state government as a former city elected official and a current member of the Minnesota State Legislature. He worked on a wide range of legal services, such as Telecommunications law, Municipal Law, Cable Law, Estates and Probate, and much more.
Tou graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2012 obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. He continued on to obtain his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law (Mitchell Hamline School of Law) graduating in 2015. After graduating from law school, Tou was elected to the Maplewood City Council in 2015. In 2018, Tou was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives, and re-elected in 2020. In 2022, Tou was elected to the Minnesota State Senate, and currently serves as a sitting member.
Tou is a resident of Maplewood and is an active member with youth basketball at the Maplewood Community Center. He is the second child among eight siblings and in his free time he enjoys a game of backyard football and basketball with his brothers after a long day of campaign door-knocking.
