HOME Line would like to introduce Zeynab and Claire, our new Tenant Advocates working on addressing the needs of Somali and Spanish speaking renters. Both staff have been trained in tenant landlord law and are now providing advocacy in Somali and Spanish on our tenant hotline. In addition, they are beginning community outreach to organizations that serve these respective communities. Please feel free to contact either staff member if you have ideas or contacts with organizations to help us connect with these immigrant communities.
All renters that need rental advocacy should contact our tenant hotline at 612 728-5767. Somali (press # 117) and Spanish (press # 111) hotline prompts direct callers in need of assistance in a specific language to the appropriate staff member.
