On March 23, 2022, HOME Line hosted a webinar on Minnesota tenant/landlord law. We were joined by Fourth Judicial District Housing Court Referee Tiffany Sedillos. Referee Sedillos provided an overview of the pre-eviction notice requirements some cities in Hennepin County have recently enacted and offered some insights into what Referees need to consider when handling eviction actions originating in those cities. Referee Sedillos also touched on some of the changes in the housing court that are a result of the pandemic, including case volumes and using technology to facilitate hearings. Both Referee Sedillos and HOME Line legal staff answered questions from the audience on a wide variety tenant/landlord legal topics.
We are applying for 1.5 general CLE credits for this webinar and will notify attendees if and when it is approved.
