Repair calls remain really high, continuing to be driven by a lot of rain throughout the state this summer, which has led to a big increase in calls concerning mold. For the first time this calendar year, eviction calls are up slightly over last year’s numbers for the same month. Security deposit disputes are up as well—also driven by issues like a lot of rain causing damage where landlords sometimes try to hold tenants liable.
Here’s a new stat—we advised tenants in 70 different Minnesota counties last month. Historically, about 20% of our calls come from outside of the 7-county metro area.
