By every metric, July was the busiest month in the 34-year history of HOME Line’s tenant hotline.

We set a monthly record for new contacts (emails and calls): 2,115.

We set a monthly record for follow-up contacts: 1,968.

We set a monthly record for total contacts (new plus follow-ups): 4,083.

Two of these records only lasted a month—in June, we set records for follow-up and total contacts. The record for new contacts in a month was set in January 2026.

Repairs has retaken the top spot from evictions, but both remain on pace for very high numbers of contacts to our hotline for the year. Both lease questions and financial aid questions made substantial leaps over their positions last year.
