Lillian is a Housing Attorney working on the hotline. She joined HOME Line after graduating from Washington University in St Louis School of Law and passing the Minnesota Bar Exam.
During law school, Lillian interned at Land of Lincoln Legal Aid and ArchCity Defenders working to provide free legal services in the fields of housing, criminal record expungement, and consumer law. She also interned with the Animal Legal Defense Fund and remains deeply interested in animal law.
Lillian also worked at WashU’s Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic and served as a Staff Editor on WashU Law’s Global Studies Law Review.
Prior to law school, Lillian received her B.A. in History and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures from Indiana University. During her time at IU she worked at the Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society completing public history projects. She also digitized exhibits for the University Archives.
She is passionate about public interest law and helping to create a more accessible legal system for tenants.
